Community Outreach

Our Community Outreach work is where mentorship, service, and neighborly love meet in real time.

Neighborhood Engagement Events bring people together for resource sharing, fun, and honest conversations. From block-based gatherings to pop-up support days, these nonprofit community events create spaces where women, youth, and families can connect, learn about services, and feel seen. You might find wellness activities, empowerment talks, youth activities, and direct connections to support-all wrapped in a welcoming, family-style atmosphere.

Behind the scenes, our Volunteer Coordination team makes it all possible. We listen to each volunteer's gifts, schedule, and comfort level, then match them with meaningful roles-from packing Love Baskets and supporting Adopt a Family outreach to greeting at events or sharing professional skills in workshops. Volunteers are never just "extra hands"; they are co-builders of change.

Through our Resource Referral Services, we help participants navigate what can feel like a confusing maze of programs. When someone comes to us in a tough season, we listen first, then help connect them with trusted partners for housing, food, counseling, legal aid, education, and more. Our goal is to reduce the stress of searching and make sure no one feels they have to figure it out alone.

Every conversation, event, and referral is about strengthening the safety net around our neighborhoods-so that when one of us is struggling, all of us have a way to respond.
